| A side meme for Collision. Enjoy.
Dancing OoOoOoOoOoO "What is it?"
Lupin grinned. “DDR.” Allen gave her a blank, yet pointed stare. “That doesn’t really explain what it is. Other than it’s a music machine.” “Dance Dance Revolution. It says so right there!” “Oh.” She laughed and got up to the machine, sliding a coin into the coin slot. Allen watched with interest as she leaned forward and began fiddling with the controls before she finished, stood up and went to one of the flashing pads. The song started up and she began. The arrows flew up and she, for the most part, got good scores. He watched, slowly gathering an understanding of how the game worked. She played two more times before it stated, “Game Over!” With a flushed face, she stepped down. “I don’t get it. You did good. Why did it end?” “Oh, that’s the thing with DDR machines. They only allot you only for three games.” She paused, before smiling slyly at him. “My friend’s husband is bitchin’ at this thing. He did the hardest level…” She paused for effect. “With weights on. I saw it once, and only once. It was…oh, Jeee-zus Christ, it was amazing. I was in shock. Typical Asian.” She snickered at his reaction. “Betcha you can’t do it with weights on, fancy-feet.” He perked a brow at her. “Really?” “Twenty-bucks.” “Ch.” He scoffed. “Fifty bucks, then.” He smiled. Easy cash. OoOoOoOoOoO They came back the next day and Lupin had managed to get her friend's husbands weights for the bet. They had gathered plenty of people who were interested to see the bet take place. Even his master had come to see the spectacle. The room inside the arcade was packed, standing room only and people waited as Lupin collected the arcade coins for Allen.
"Three songs, you gotta finish them all on the most difficult setting with the weights on. No respite, no nothin’.” He was confidant he could do it. Certainly, it should be easy—, The music started and Lupin had already placed his settings up and chose a song for him. He had been unprepared for how quickly the arrows flew, nor the speed of the song they accompanied it with. He was sweating already by the end of the first song. Lupin was already ducked beside him, grinning like a Cheshire cat at him. “Give up?” “Never.” “O-kay, two more songs to go,” she replied in a singsong voice, then slapped a hand down and the next song was chosen. The weights dragged him down. If he didn’t have them, he probably wouldn’t have scored so terribly on the second song, but he thought he did better on the third. He heaved a sigh of relief when the words, “Game Over!” announced from the speakers. Turning, he leaned against the metal bars, staring in an annoyed fashion at Lupin. She grinned and looked away for a moment when Cross stepped behind her. He heard cheers from the others and some came up to pat him on the back and congratulate him. He laughed, if tiredly and straightened himself, his legs already numbed. “I won.” He stated matter-of-factly. “I know.” She answered perkily before handing him the bills. They were still warm and freshly crumpled from her having been in her jeans all day. He pocketed them but stopped with his hand halfway out when he saw Lupin turned towards Cross. His master had a grudging look on his face when he handed her some money and she was grinning widely. Allen stared, incredulous. “What—?” She turned back to him and pocketed the wad of cash. “What? He bet you couldn’t do it and I bet him you could! I had every faith in you!” “But you—,” He stammered, dubious at the scene before him. “Easy cash.” She chuckled. “You just got played, dude.” Allen learned something new about Lupin that fateful day at the Dance Dance Revolution machine. It was to always be careful when he bet with her. She could very well already know the outcome and win more money than he did. OoOoOoOoOoO | comments: Leave a comment |
| Thought I'd post something short and sweet from Collision. It was fun and it made me giggle. x3
Also, simply playing around with dialogue, and adding in new characters. Here, we have Axel mind-raping occupying Lupin's mind. Oh, snap.
JuxtapositionOoOoOoOoOoO ‘You’re going to have to trust me.’
She scoffed. Loudly. It drew attention to her, but only for a brief second. Only several, lingering stares prevented her from thinking up a retort to the voice in her head, who was now apparently using her mind and body as a bloody time share. Her jaw clenched angrily and the leather gloves—not hers, of course—creaked at the tightening pressure. Trust you? You’re the last person I’d ever trust! She replied haughtily. ‘More or less than that crazy fire lady, Azula? Or perhaps that crazy Earl guy. Maybe even Maleficent you’d trust more. Or the zombies, or that monstrous metal man—‘ Megatron. She promptly corrected. ‘Yeah, him.’ The voice paused. ‘You’d trust them more than me? I’m hurt.’ The voice, strangely enough, sounded highly amused when Lupin didn’t reply. She couldn’t reply, actually. He was right, in an ironic sense. She didn’t trust any of the villainous figures they were up against. Well, zombies didn’t really count, but— She snapped her head to at the sound of scratching, low moans and prolonged death rattles hammering against the door. Her muscles tensed and the voice remained silent. When the moans had passed on, everyone silent as the actual dead, the disembodied voice of Axel came back. ‘Look, one way or another, you’re not going to survive this unless you learn to trust me. I’ve got the moves, you’ve got the body, and I’m sure you’d like the moves, because I’d like the body.’ Lupin didn’t reply at first. Finally, she answered, That…that just… She coughed, almost politely. That just sounds wrong in so many different ways. OoOoOoOoOoO | comments: Leave a comment |
| Yeah...I went there. I redid my old story, Forgotten Sights. I just wanted to get this out of the way. Dunno when I'll post the story on Fanfic.net. Probably never. I dunno. I loved this story too much to put it down, so instead, I did a better version of it. No more helpless female character, yay! 8D ( Fake cuts = the cake is a lie! D: ) | comments: 2 comments or Leave a comment |
| Sooo...Brooklyn didn't make an OFFICIAL entrance, but he did make one. Sorta. In an innuendo-ish, indirect sort of way. Next chapter will be predominantly in his third-person-ish POV, or better yet, from his standing point. He'll be a confused little gargoyle, but I'm sure he'll be right as rain...in a few chapters or so. xD Mistakes are inevitable, but I'll try to go over them, catch the buggers as best I can, but some help wouldn't be too bad. ;3

| A little more delving into Collision, and Brooklyn of Gargoyles will make an appearance and this will be postmovie!Brooklyn. I haven't gotten far in the series, don't have the time to review the whole series, and thought that having some several "beginning" characters from the start of their series be brought up instead of the convenient "after the whole series!" characters all the time. :3 Anyways, some more Loopy and Edward time, because they fight so beautifully. *snerks*

| I'm surprised at my own speed on this new chapter. O.O Honestly, I am. I didn't expect to get this done today, at all, but I suppose miracles happen every once in a while. xD;;;; More so through Edward's perspective than everyone else's, thought it'd be more fitting to go through his eyes for this chapter than any of the others. I'm gonna be working in several more characters later on, including Roy Mustang soon enough~ x3 He'll probably arrive after Brooklyn's. <3

| Mmkay, Edward Elric has made his appearance, although there were several scene changes and points of meetings. I had originally wanted his ass full thrown up in the air to come crashing down, but given, well...weight issues, one might say, that'd take more than what Lupin would possess. So, before anymore spoilers come forth, enjoy reading.
And, I THINK I might do more "commentary" concerning characters, parts of the posted chapter and other shit stuff. What'choo think? xD

| Here is part of chapter thirteen of Collision, and in we enter some insight of Lupin's rowdier side; something I seriously wanted to explore and branch out a little more on. We also bring in everyone's favorite pain in the ass, Dr. House and his unfortunate partner-in-crime, Dr. Wilson. Edward Elric will definitely be making his appearance quite soon, although unlike the first draft snippet I wrote up, it'll be quite different a meeting than expected. x3
And now that I'm exhausted from writing all of this, I think I'll be going to bed now, I have work in the morning...

| Snippet from chapter 12 of Collision. Loopy and Light never had a formal "conversation" and while Loopy does most of the talking, what few words Light says, really shakes her up. Tenses may be a little screwed up, but I shall fix them when I have the time to look them over. Any that can be pointed out, however, would be most welcome, since I know I'm prone to missing a few little buggers here and there... ( Can I be your imaginary friend? )</div> | comments: Leave a comment |
